Halo is only a 7 month old female pup who was abandoned and left to fend for herself. She was confiscated by Memphis Animal Services. Here is her MAS profile.

The Savior Foundation was contacted to help her with medical treatment. She was drinking a lot of water and urinating a lot. We couldn't resist helping this gentle giant. Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital gave her a thorough exam, did sonagrams, and did bloodwork. It was determined that she has Diabetes Insipidus, which is manageable with medicine. She will need a loving and caring family who will make sure she gets her medicine every day.

Halo is very scared and timid of people; however, she LOVES her foster family. Halo does love other dogs! We are covering the cost for Halo to participate in basic obedience, so she gets to know other people in a controlled, safe environment. 

We look forward to see Halo progress and eventually be in a furever loving home.
